Floydi mi sicer na splošno niso preveč všeč, vendar besedilo te pesmi ima zame zelo globok pomen. Kot psihoterapevt se z zanikanjem in “obračanjem stran” od težav in hladu v srcu, prav pogosto srečujem.
V preteklosti so ob poslušanju te pesmi vedno tekle solze, pojavljala se je kurja polt, spomini in misli na vse tiste ljudi, ki jim kar nekako na uspe soočiti se s svojimi negativnostmi, so pač terjale svoje. Vedno sem z žalostjo v srcu gledal na svet, v katerem živim, in nemo objokoval porazno stanje.
Danes pa ni več solza, ni več kruje polti - vse to je nadomestila odsotnost žalosti v mojem lastnem srcu. Predvsem pa zavedanje, da je trpljenje, žalost in neuspeh le ena od oblik dojemanja resničnosti, v kateri živimo. Stvar prepričanj, vprašanje percepcije, to je vse.
Ne točim več solza za tistimi, ki jim ne uspe splavati iz lastne temnice, enostavno zato ne, ker vem, da je to zelo zelo enostavno narediti, s pomočjo od zgoraj >>
